My wife graciously gave me the reins over the print materials (we are both designers), and we worked together to create a visual style that set the tone for the atmoshpere we were trying to create. We designed print and digital materials in junction with the venue lighting, florals, and colors. This was a fun typographic exercise featuring Hoefler & Co.'s Surveyor and Knockout.

One of our main design challenges was to present our stylistic differences in a unified way. Knockout provides an exciting and punchy element to partner with the more grounded and elegant Surveyor, which is a reflection of our personalities. I created the "ML" mark to represent our two names joining together, and was inspired by the forms of GarageFonts' Freight Display.
